Greenfield Intercultural Center
GIC serves as Penn’s resource for enhancing student’s intercultural knowledge, competency, and leadership. We do this by offering experiential courses for credit, signature intercultural programs, and other services related to diversity and intercultural education.
La Casa Latina
La Casa Latina promotes greater awareness of Latinx issues, culture, and identity at Penn. La Casa Latina works closely with the Penn community to offer a supportive environment where all students are welcomed and engaged in programs, events, and dialogues that address important issues affecting Latinxs/Hispanics locally, nationally, and internationally.
The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center (LGBT Center)
The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center’s mission is to enrich the experiences, foster success, celebrate victories, and affirm the existence of Penn’s LGBTQ+ undergraduates, professional and graduate students, staff, faculty, and alum using the lenses of social justice and intersectionality. Through education, support, and advocacy, the Center cultivates a campus climate where all students, regardless of their gender or sexual identity, can live authentically.
Makuu: The Black Cultural Center
Founded in 2000 to center the experience, concerns, and possibilities of students of the African Diaspora, Makuu: The Black Cultural Center is affectionately regarded as “home”. Makuu’s staff work daily to provide academic, cultural, and social support to students and groups, connecting them to additional resources and opportunities. Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH)
The Pan-Asian American Community House opened in the fall of 2000 in response to students’ calls for a cultural resource center at the University of Pennsylvania where South Asian, East Asian, Southeast Asian, and Pacific Islander cultures could be celebrated. PAACH is a community center that develops and implements innovative programs for leadership development and community service in close collaboration with Asian American student and community groups.
Penn Women’s Center (PWC)
One of the nation’s oldest Women’s Centers, founded in 1973, we work with students, staff and faculty of all genders and identities. The Penn Women’s Center’s mission is to promote gender justice, and to empower, support, and advance personal and professional development.
Graduate Student Center (GSC)
GSC is led by professional staff and graduate fellows trained to support the University of Pennsylvania’s graduate and professional students.
Family Center at Penn
The Family Resource Center at Penn is a hub for information, resources, activities and advocacy for students and post-docs with children.
